God Bless This New Year

Our calender that we use in our daily lives has come to the last day for the year 2007. Some of us will celebrate the coming of the New Year with family and friends. Some couples may enjoy a quiet evening at home waiting for the clock hands to strike midnight. Some may be drawn to bring in the New Year watching fireworks with many strangers in the city. But my thoughts at this moment are on our soldiers across the ocean on a military base, working a check point, or on patrol, the lonely with no one to celebrate with, and the homeless that are having trouble finding something to celebrate. I hate to trespass on your celebration, but please take some time to pray for our troubled brothers and sisters. Pray that God will bless these people in 2008 and use them mightily and thank God for the blessings he has given you.

Proverbs 10:22 The blessing of the LORD, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it.
