God Bless This New Year

Our calender that we use in our daily lives has come to the last day for the year 2007. Some of us will celebrate the coming of the New Year with family and friends. Some couples may enjoy a quiet evening at home waiting for the clock hands to strike midnight. Some may be drawn to bring in the New Year watching fireworks with many strangers in the city. But my thoughts at this moment are on our soldiers across the ocean on a military base, working a check point, or on patrol, the lonely with no one to celebrate with, and the homeless that are having trouble finding something to celebrate. I hate to trespass on your celebration, but please take some time to pray for our troubled brothers and sisters. Pray that God will bless these people in 2008 and use them mightily and thank God for the blessings he has given you.

Proverbs 10:22 The blessing of the LORD, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it.

Karl Hemmerich: SAVED!

Thursday 12/27/07 a Blessing was poured upon our Bible Study. Karl Hemmerich our newest attendee gave his life to Christ. The circumcision of his heart has assured him a place with Jesus Christ our Lord! This also is an encouragement to the brethren of TBS Fellowship. Please welcome Karl to Christ Church and in our fellowship. Please thank the Lord for this blessing and for Pastor Vince Giardino for leading Karl to Christ at this study.
TBS Fellowship also gave Carl a new 1611 King James Holy Bible so he can study to shew thyself approved unto God.

Brother Arnone Sharing Thoughts

Dec 24, 2007

How beautiful his birth, that led to the cross.
A plan of redemption and salvation it cost.
Gods perfect Son without blemish or spot.
Gave through the cross what we could have not.

S. Arnone

What do others see in my walk ? ...

FATHER GOD, please help me to walk in a way that is pleasing to
you! That I may be a reflection of your SON JESUS CHRIST, to bring
glory and honor to your name AMEN .

Does my walk reflect GOD'S love and wisdom, " Pure, Peaceable , Gentle
with kindness full of mercy and grace with out hypocrisy bearing the fruits
of the Holy Spirit "? Do I have love peace and joy?. What do others
see in my walk?

New Testiment Time Line

Time goes by so fast when you do the things you love. The study started by Pastor Vince was no exception. Time to get his 3 point message in one sitting is not nearly enough for the hungry mind that has many questions. Though we were side track off the subject a few times, the Holy Spirit guided the answers that needed to be answered at that moment to the audience that needed to hear it. Next week Pastor Vince will come back to finish his study. With this in mind I put a copy of the Time Line on the site for the brothers that missed part 1 this week so they can print a copy for themselves to bring 12/27/07. Thanks Pastor Vince for sharing and we look forward to you coming back. Remember, you can print any picture by clicking on it then file, then print, also the Time Line is on legal paper so set the printer on landscape and legal size before hitting the ok print.

Christmas Party

Its that time again to give glory to the birth of our Savior Jesus Christ! I know we praise Jesus everyday, but keep in mind why we celebrate his birth and the reason why he came to live with us in an earthly body. So with that in mind, a Christmas Celebration would be in order to get our families together for some fellowship. Its a TBS Fellowship occasion set for Sat. January 12, 2008, at 3:00 pm a Thank Christ Day Party. On Thursday Dec. 13, we will have a sign up list for food, beverages, and miscellaneous items needed for the party. Please make plans for you and your family to attend.

Send any comments through this posting.

A Time To Sell

Since Curt has bought his Harley Davidson Trike he has run out of room for storage. Now he can change his vehicles like he changes his socks, weather permitting. He has decided that its time to sell some of his vehicles. Pictures were taken of the Honda and the BMW motorcycles so ads could be placed on craigslist. It wasn't 2 hours after the ads were placed for the BMW that calls started coming in. This site really works well. In the mean time, I wanted to post another picture of a man who loves the Lord and is very dear to us.

Rock Hounds

On October 21, 2007 the TBS Fellowship decided to help Brother Ernie gather creek stones for a project that was started 5 years earlier. This involved the gathering of 450 sq.ft. of stones. The stones were donated by John and Kathryn Oechsle from their land on Italy Hill in Naples, NY. The key was to go on a warm autumn day so the motorcycle enthusiasts could follow on their bikes. The day was gorgeous and warm (topped out at 80 degrees). The first stop was to meet at Brother Chucks house and pray before the 1 1/2 hour drive to the property. Within the first 3 miles of the trip we were able to see the splendor of the white tail deer dancing and prancing over the country side, even up close as we all veered off the road to avoid hitting them. We were amazed at the beautiful foliage and blue sky. As we were driving we came upon a sight seeing area over looking Canandaguia Lake, so we stopped. We meet a women who we promptly began to fellowship with her. Once we finished our picture taking and fellowship we went to town to eat a hearty breakfast. Breakfast consisted of pancakes, eggs, sausage, bacon, home fries, orange juice, coffee, and flies. Did I write flies? Yes there were a few of them at breakfast. After breakfast we proceeded to the property and located a creek bed to gather the stones. We found that there was a small water fall (if there was more water) and were able to climb it. We filled the truck and trailer and left the property to finish the trip. The trip will be remember and cherished. It was a blessing of the Lord to enjoy a moment in time with him and our brothers and sister. I would like to thank everyone for the help in completing this project, I couldn't have finished it without your help. God Bless You.

Flag Pole

The TBS Fellowship has just donated money for the purchase of a new flag pole for Curt Lewis front yard. It was purchased from and installed by New York State Fence. The flag was donated by Dave Stulpin and the electrical installation to light it up at night up was donated by Mike Gallagher and Filippo Elia. Mike Gallagher also has ordered a dedication plate for the base of the pole. Curt has stated that he has ordered a Christian flag so it could be placed just below the US flag. Curt has always wanted a flag pole in his yard and it was appropriate that the Bible Study took the position to purchase it. Curt Lewis has open his house for 25 plus years to his Brothers and Sisters of faith and we truly appreciate his love and hospitality. Thanks Curtis Lewis
